This is a great spot for a leisurely stroll. I came here during a break between bomb cyclones and the weather was a bit cloudy and windy. I enjoyed collecting some stones while taking in the peaceful and rugged scenery.

Wow, this beach is a real gem! The sand is so clean and pristine, you'd think it was imported straight from the Bahamas. And unlike other northern California beaches, you won't find yourself tripping over pesky rocks every few steps. This is definitely a beach worth visiting - just don't forget your sunscreen!

The beach is stunning, but the steepness of the shoreline poses a risk for swimming and wading. However, it's perfect for lounging and admiring the waves and even catching a glimpse of whales. In fact, we were fortunate enough to witness a whale spouting multiple times just beyond the breaking waves. Unfortunately, there are no restroom facilities on the beach.

Centerville Beach is a spacious and sun-kissed stretch of sand that is easily accessible. The route through Ferndale is picturesque and the glimpses of the ocean that appear around each bend are breathtaking. Although the parking lot is small and can fill up quickly, the beach itself is expansive and perfect for families with children. The vibrant rocks that dot the shoreline, the soft and malleable clay cliffs that are perfect for playtime, and the abundance of large driftwood that can be climbed on all make for a fun and engaging experience. It's important to note, however, that the tide can rise and cover the parking area, so it's vital to exercise caution. Overall, Centerville Beach is an ideal place to run and play with kids, and it's also a dog-friendly destination.
