After exploring the Oregon coast for more than 25 years, we can confidently say that this beach is one of our all-time favorites. While the trailhead is unmarked, Google Maps will lead you in the right direction. The trail itself is short but steep, so it's best to avoid it when it's wet and muddy. As you get closer to the water, you'll encounter several cliffs, some of which are quite high. To reach the beach and water below, you'll need to scramble down the face of a rock, which is about a 20-foot descent. While it's not a technical climb, it can be slippery when wet. However, even if you don't make it all the way down, you'll still be treated to some of the most breathtaking views on the southern Oregon coast. During our last visit, we were amazed by the sheer number of otters and seals/sea lions in the area. We stopped counting at 50, but there were undoubtedly many more. If you're a nature lover, this beach is an absolute must-visit.

I am still in awe of the breathtaking beach that I had the pleasure of visiting. It was truly a remarkable experience! We arrived just in time to witness the stunning sunset, and although the tide was high, we were unable to explore the entire beach. Nonetheless, the beauty of the place was simply indescribable. I am already looking forward to returning and spending an entire day here!

The beach is absolutely stunning! The hike to get there is short but steep, and caution should be taken when it's wet as there are some slippery clay spots. A few members of our group took some falls, and we heard of someone who slid off a nearby trail and hadn't been found yet. So, it's important to take it slow and be careful. However, the beach is definitely worth the effort! There are several waterfalls, caves, and "windows" to explore. To get to the beach, you'll need to scramble down a rock face that's more like a ladder than stairs, but it's manageable with good handholds. Some dogs may need assistance with this part. It's best to visit during low tide as there's much more to see. Overall, it's an amazing and incredibly beautiful spot!

I had an amazing time at this beach! Although the trailhead isn't clearly marked, I suggest searching for "secret beach trailhead" and keeping an eye out for a small parking lot. The trail itself is moderately steep and requires a bit of scrambling down some rocks to reach the beach, but the breathtaking views make it all worthwhile. There are plenty of picturesque spots for taking photos and basking in the sun and sea. Just be sure to check the tide schedule before you go - low tide is the best time to visit!

This beach is a fantastic hidden gem. It may be a bit tricky to find the entrance if there aren't many people around, but once you do, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful blend of lush forest, towering mountains, and pristine beach.
