A wonderful spot to explore and relish the beach is right here! Take the East main road access that leads you to the sandy shores. Engage the four-wheel drive and let the excitement begin. As we drove along the beach, we stumbled upon some sea lions basking in the sun. The beach wasn't too packed, which made it all the more enjoyable. It was a delightful surprise to discover that driving on Oregon's beaches is allowed.

My family and I attended a wedding at Del Ray Beach, located just north of Seaside, and we were thoroughly impressed with the location. The beach offers a plethora of activities, including the ability to drive on the sand, have a cozy bonfire, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. It's definitely a destination worth visiting for a fun-filled day or a relaxing weekend getaway.

This beach may seem like a picturesque destination, but don't be fooled. The convenience of being able to drive on the beach comes at a cost - the constant noise and pollution from vehicles. And while the scenery may be stunning, the crowds of people and lack of privacy make it difficult to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Don't be fooled by the allure of this beach - there are better, more peaceful options out there.

This stretch of coastline extends for approximately 14.6 miles, which is accessible by vehicle. However, if you plan on driving, it is important to be familiar with driving on sand. Ensure that you deflate your tires and avoid parking in areas where your vehicle may sink. Keep an eye out for any obstacles, people, or animals that may cross your path. The speed limit is 25mph, but it is recommended to go slower to fully appreciate the stunning scenery. During high tide, parts of the beach may become impassable by car, so it is advisable to use a 4x4 vehicle equipped with recovery straps and shovels. If you do find yourself stuck, don't worry, as there are many kind-hearted people willing to lend a helping hand. The Sons of Beaches are also known to roam the area and offer assistance to those in need. The beach is a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the ocean view, and have a cozy fire. However, be cautious when swimming in the water and know your limits. Don't forget to check out the shipwreck near Fort Stevens. Have a great time!
