In my opinion, this public beach is among the most pleasant ones. It is impeccably clean and well-kept, and visitors can make use of the public restrooms and showers. The presence of a protected area instills a feeling of safety in those who wish to take a dip in the water.

This beach is truly remarkable due to its serene waters that allow you to swim out far into the ocean, bask in the sun's warm rays, and even indulge in some thrilling surfing activities. Moreover, the beach is immaculately clean, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a hygienic and refreshing escape. However, if you have specific preferences such as solely wanting to surf or relax in solitude, you may want to explore other options.

Kuhio Beach Park, situated alongside Waikiki Beach, offers unparalleled accessibility and convenience for visitors. Its prime location near a plethora of shops, restaurants, and bars make it a go-to destination for tourists. Moreover, the beach is easily accessible from a variety of hotels in the vicinity, making it a top pick for many. However, given its immense popularity, the beach is often crowded, so visitors should be prepared for a bustling atmosphere.

Why is this beach so highly rated? Perhaps by those who are not willing to venture 2-5 miles in any direction to find a better beach. Although this beach is beautiful, it's difficult to give it more than 2 stars when there are so many other beaches on the island that are even better. This one tends to be crowded with children and tourists. On the plus side, there is a shallow area that is sectioned off and offers a great view of Diamond Head. If you don't have children and have access to a bike, scooter, car, or bus pass, do yourself a favor and explore other beaches. However, if you're looking for a beach near Burger King or the Marriott hotel, then this one may be for you. To clarify, if this were a beach in Canada, it would be rated a 9/10, but you're in Hawaii, so go find an amazing beach!
