The beach is fantastic and comes with a small parking lot that is free of charge. You'll find a variety of restaurants and stores in close proximity to the beach, making it a convenient and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is truly delightful and adds to the overall charm of the location.

This beach is absolutely stunning with its pristine, immaculate sand and breathtaking sunsets. There are also a plethora of activities to keep visitors entertained, making it an ideal destination for individuals, couples, and families with children. I highly recommend this beach to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable experience.

This is hands down my favorite beach on Maui. I highly recommend avoiding the beach further north due to the abundance of rocks in the water. However, this beach boasts some incredible waves that are perfect for surfing, depending on the day. I even got caught in a massive wave that nearly dislocated my shoulder - it was quite the experience! While this beach is a popular spot for tourist sail boats to load and unload, it can be both annoying and entertaining to watch. There are plenty of showers available right off the beach, and a variety of restaurants just steps away. Parking can be found for free in some areas, or you can opt to park at the Whalers Village shopping center (although it can be pricey) and walk straight through the mall. If you make a purchase, you may even be able to get your parking validated. Additionally, there are accommodations available right on the beach, making it an ideal location for a vacation. Overall, I highly recommend this beach for anyone visiting Maui.

The beach is a fantastic spot for a variety of activities, including snorkeling, walking, relaxing, and catching a breathtaking sunset. The snorkeling experience at Black Rock, located at the far right end of the beach, is particularly noteworthy. During my visits, I was fortunate enough to spot two turtles, several eagle rays, and an abundance of fish. The north end of the beach near Black Rock is quite spacious, providing ample room for beachgoers. While it can get a bit crowded, it's not overwhelming, and it's certainly less busy than Kapalua Bay (although the snorkeling is better there). The stunning backdrop of nearby islands and Black Rock adds to the picturesque setting. As the sun sets, a diver lights torches and jumps into the water, creating a mesmerizing scene. It's difficult to predict when this will happen, but the torches remain lit throughout the sunset, enhancing the overall ambiance.

The beach in Maui is absolutely stunning! It offers a wide range of activities, from surfing to snorkeling, or simply lounging on the sandy shore. However, it's important to be cautious of the occasional rocky areas when venturing into the water. Despite this, the beach is still a wonderful place to spend your day. Just be sure to bring your own shade as there isn't much available on the beach.
