The beach is absolutely stunning and definitely one of my favorites. The bar is fantastic, with friendly staff and amazing drinks. However, the gate attendants are a different story. Specifically, there's a young girl with long hair who seems to have a strong dislike for tourists. To my surprise, she actually charged me for kids under 5 and didn't seem to care about the mistake. Normally, children under 5 are supposed to be free. Every time we visit this beach, the gate attendants always give us trouble. We have wonderful friends whom we rent from every summer and even purchase punch cards just to come here, but the gate staff make us feel unwelcome. Let's face it, without tourists who come to enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe, this town wouldn't have much to offer. Incline Village really needs to address the rudeness displayed by the community members towards tourists!

Please note that all the beaches in Incline Village, such as Burnt Cedar and Incline Beach, are not accessible to the general public. To enter these beaches, you must be a resident of Incline Village and present a specific ID to obtain a wristband. The Hayat Regency beach is also exclusive to guests, and they verify wristbands. Therefore, I recommend parking your car at "771 Southwood Blvd" and utilizing the free shuttles to reach Sand Harbor beach.

The beach is a lovely private spot that can be accessed by residents of Incline Village or guests staying at any hotel in the village. To gain entry, you can obtain an access pass from your host or the hotel reception. If you visit for the day, you have the option to purchase a day pass at the beach entrance, priced at $16 for adults and $8 for children. There is both paid parking and free parking available just outside the parking lot. The water is crystal clear and the sand is great, making it an ideal destination for families. Additionally, you can relax under the shade of the huge trees or enjoy the nice playground. I observed people having a blast with jet-skis and kayaks, although I am unsure if they are available for rent on-site.

Why is this beach so popular? What makes it so appealing? Here are some photos of Incline Beach, NV. In my opinion, there is nothing particularly special about this beach that would immediately catch my attention. It is a private beach and that's about it. It seems that those who have exclusive access to the beach don't want any other people nearby, and that's perfectly fine with me. Lake Tahoe has over 70 miles of shoreline with more than 40 beaches on both the California and Nevada sides. So, there are plenty of other beaches to visit where everyone is welcome, although some may require fees. I suggest skipping Incline Beach and checking out these amazing alternatives: Sand Harbor Beach NV, Pope Beach CA, and Hidden Beach NV. Hidden Beach might offer something truly unique to see. Pope Beach is one of the largest beaches in Lake Tahoe. And, of course, Sand Harbor Beach is the absolute best. Good luck.

This beach in Incline Village is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the majestic mountain range beyond! It's located a short distance away from the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, making it easily accessible. Photography enthusiasts seeking the perfect shot of a sunrise or sunset will not be let down.
