This proved to be our favorite beach of our trip. It’s gorgeous and peaceful here. The colors are the best teals and aquas and the waves make you feel like you’re in the ocean. My children enjoyed a cold swim and walking the beach. There was no boat traffic at this beach and you really feel alone and relaxed.

Gorgeous beach. You can bring your dog along the north part of this beach and it's a great spot for a fire after dark. We were lucky enough to be there to catch some of the Perseids meteor shower. It's so dark out there, you can even see the Milky Way.

We had an amazing time at this beach! We came in the middle of August. The water was cold but after a bit you get adjusted to it, and it feels great. The beach is very clean, pet friendly, and is one of the few beaches that allows beach fires so of course we had to do that. I would definitely recommend watching the beautiful sunset. At night, the stars look amazing. We will definitely be back again next time we're in Michigan!
