The beach is really nice and perfect for fishing, collecting shells, and building sand castles! They have done a great job clearing out the natural debris left by the last hurricane. Just a heads up, if you're bringing young children, the bathrooms are located near the kayak rentals, which is about a quarter mile down the road.

After moving to Florida in April, I had the opportunity to visit this beach, which was my second beach experience, and I instantly fell in love with it. It has a serene atmosphere and the water is relatively shallow. You can walk quite a distance from the shore and the water would still only reach your knees. Additionally, there is always a fascinating variety of sea life and shells to discover here. The beach itself is narrow, with trees lining the back, but I personally appreciate this layout. It creates more space between beachgoers, allowing you to set up your own little private beach area if you venture a bit into the trees.

The beach is really nice and peaceful. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted. They have a kayak rental service available or you can bring your own. It's very convenient to get to the open water. The sunsets there are absolutely stunning.

I'm glad to see that Bunche is open again! The mangroves and trees have been affected by hurricane Ian, but the sand and water appear to have returned to their usual state. It's an incredible beach to witness the sunset over the Sanibel bridge!

I'm not sure how this beach appeared prior to the hurricane, but it was definitely not suitable for swimming during our visit. The water had a cloudy appearance and we could see significant debris both on the beach and in the water. However, it is perfectly suitable for sunbathing. The trees situated behind the beach exhibit extensive damage. Additionally, there is ample free parking available along the road.
