This beach truly took my breath away. The clarity of the water, the beauty of the reef, and the presence of palm trees make it absolutely enchanting. It perfectly embodies the image of a Caribbean beach. The sand is incredibly soft and white, making it irresistible to spend the entire day here. As we lounged, we were delighted by the passing food vendors offering delectable Argentinian cuisine, with the choripan being my personal favorite. We also indulged in churros and empanadas. Fortunately, parking was plentiful (although we visited during the low season), and the beach was not crowded at all. My husband and I had a wonderful time snorkeling, relaxing under the shade of the trees, and swimming. It truly is a sight to behold.
This is the beach where you should plan to spend most of your time! It's bustling with people and activities, offering easy access to surf lessons and food just a short walk away. Locals often wander through with a variety of homemade goodies and gifts. This spot is a favorite among locals, and you can expect to see beach games, surfers, and even fire twirlers at night! It was the highlight of our trip for fun in the sun! The sand bar makes swimming easy without having to go out too deep, but be cautious of the surf as the waves can be quite large and crash onto the shore. You will truly enjoy your experience here!
This beach in Puerto Viejo is truly stunning and peaceful. It offers ample space and a serene atmosphere. However, it's crucial to exercise caution due to the strong current, which can swiftly carry you away without notice! Apart from that, simply relax and savor the experience.
This is the best beach in Costa Rica! There is nobody around here. The walk becomes quite challenging after it rains.
This place is a hidden gem - just a brief stroll through the rainforest and you'll discover this tranquil beach! The water is delightful and transparent, and there are plenty of palm trees providing shade. Keep in mind that there are no facilities like restrooms, seating areas, cafes, or trash bins, so make sure to bring all your necessities and take your litter when you leave. You'll notice several signs cautioning about rip currents, so it's advisable to avoid swimming, but there are numerous rock pools perfect for wading. Additionally, be cautious when selecting your spot to sit as the tide appears to rise swiftly!
