The beach was amazing! We really enjoyed its close proximity to our hotel. The sand is absolutely stunning, with a fine texture and a beautiful black color that shimmers with hints of gold. Parking along the road is free and there are plenty of spaces available. The waves breaking on the beach are just right, providing a bit of excitement but still allowing for a comfortable swim for two adults without any strong currents. Snorkeling is not possible here, but there are plenty of options for shade. This beach is perfect for relaxing with a book and taking refreshing dips in the ocean for some fun and cooling down.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, with its stunning black sand. Although there aren't many ideal spots for sunbathing, it remains breathtaking.

During my stay in Puerto Viejo, I had the opportunity to visit this beach. Before going, I had done some research and mentioned to our guide that I wanted to see a black sand beach. He immediately responded, saying that we would pass one soon. As we were on our way to the hotel, we drove by this beach. The next day, we returned to actually enjoy it. Parking is similar to the rest of the town, meaning you can basically park wherever you find a spot. Our guide chose to stay in the car while we explored the beach. When you take off your shoes and step onto the black sand, it feels incredibly pleasant. The sand is soft and feels amazing between your toes. Not only does it feel great, but it also looks stunning. The sand sparkles! I don't think any video or picture can truly capture the true beauty of the sand. The beach itself is small, with limited space for sunbathing. However, I did notice a charming area with tables and chairs. The waves in the ocean were decent. When I visited, there were people in the water, although no one was attempting to swim. I believe this beach is best suited for leisurely walks on the beautiful black sand and cooling your feet in the water. If you happen to be in the area, this beach is a must-visit and experience for yourself!

This beach is one of my favorites! The black sand is incredibly soft, and unlike the nearby beaches, there are no corals in the water, making it easy to enter the sea. Additionally, it's not crowded with many people.

The sands of this beach possess such strong magnetic properties. It felt incredibly grounding and energizing to walk barefoot here. The meeting point of Playa Negra and Playa Chino creates a stunning visual, like gold gently pouring onto a black canvas.
