We have been visiting Valalta annually for 10 years and are familiar with the conditions and amenities. The beach bar or snack bar is basic yet clean and welcoming. However, some of the prices, now that they are in euros, are incredibly high. For instance, a half grilled chicken costs about the same as it does at the Munich Oktoberfest!
Were there with the camper, just wanted to sunbathe and swim a little, The camper was 50m away from us and it was broken open. So be careful, it's very dangerous now. Another camper owner would have the whole driver's door open.
The beach adjacent to the hotel has an urban vibe, but it is well-maintained. It's an ideal spot for families with young kids. Plus, it's conveniently located near Rovinj's old town. If you're looking for a more natural setting, there's another beach nearby.
It's a pretty nice place. As soon as I arrived, the DJ was doing a great job. There were people of all ages, with and without kids. I noticed some attractive men and women, and the staff was friendly. I ordered a coffee, which was priced at $2.50, and it was really good. I will definitely come back here again!
