This stunning bay boasts the potential to become an exclusive hotel resort in the coming years. Currently accessible by car from Stari grad or a scenic seaside walk, though caution is advised. The trek takes at least 45 minutes, making it unsuitable for some. The pictures below were taken during the seaside stroll from Stari grad. While the first part of the route is marked, the final stretch requires navigating rocky terrain or taking the road above the coast.
To access this hidden gem, be prepared for a short but steep hike lasting around 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you'll find a secluded spot perfect for one family to enjoy. The beach may appear similar to others in the area, but its tranquil atmosphere and serene surroundings make it truly unique. Don't miss the chance to discover this hidden oasis for yourself.
This restaurant is one of my all-time favorites! We tried the fresh daily catch and it was an amazing experience...the freshest fish! It does take 30-45 minutes to prepare, but we enjoyed their cocktails and appetizers while waiting, which were also fantastic! The octopus and beet tartare were incredibly delicious...a real treat. The vegetables come fresh from their garden. We took a dinghy to this wonderful restaurant on the shore. If you're ever in the area, you definitely won't regret visiting this place!
The cove is stunning and offers safety from winds coming from the east, north, and west. However, the bottom structure makes it unsuitable for anchoring. Nevertheless, a restaurant nearby has a few buoys available for use.
This seaside spot is a popular destination for tourist vessels. It's a bit of a hike to get to the beach, approximately 2.5 kilometers on foot, and the sun can be quite intense. However, there are alternative modes of transportation available, such as a water taxi or bike rental, that can make the journey quicker and more comfortable.
We visited in early June and were blessed with perfect weather, around 25 degrees Celsius. The town of Bol was pleasantly uncrowded, making it even more appealing. It impressed us with its charm and impeccable cleanliness. The town offered a plethora of dining and drinking options, as well as a handful of intriguing shops. The local stalls showcased beautiful ornaments crafted from the renowned white stone rock found on the island. We arrived by boat and had the option to extend our stay, as we thoroughly enjoyed our overnight experience. Additionally, we highly recommend paying a visit to the Winery located on the waterfront.
