This beach was incredibly tranquil and not at all busy. There was a strong breeze, but it was still quite pleasant. The waves were a bit strong, but the beach itself was long and sandy.
The stunning shoreline is encompassed by majestic mountains, providing a haven of shade and refreshing coolness during the afternoon heat. The beach also boasts incredible caves and grottoes, where visitors can marvel at the underwater world and even catch a glimpse of a needle fish swimming by.
This charming beach boasts a blend of sand and pebbles, creating a picturesque setting that is perfect for nature lovers. The crystal-clear water is pristine, and the presence of rocks in the water makes it ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts. Additionally, there is a fantastic restaurant located nearby, offering delicious food and refreshing drinks. For the best experience, it is recommended to visit this small beach early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds that tend to gather at noon.
Whether or or not you'll have a good time at this beach depends on what you're looking for. We decided to go snorkeling in the afternoon and found the water to be warm, clear, and calm - ideal for snorkeling. We saw a variety of fish, crabs, and even a sea urchin. However, the water is quite rocky, even in shallow areas. It would be difficult to swim without a snorkel without risking injury.
Rhodes Island boasts a stunning beach that is truly a feast for the eyes. During the early hours, the beach is serene and peaceful, providing the perfect ambiance for a quiet morning stroll. However, as the day progresses, the beach becomes more lively and crowded, with visitors flocking to soak up the sun and enjoy the sparkling waters. Finding a parking spot close to the beach can be a challenge due to the high demand, but the free WiFi, toilet, and shower facilities available on the beach make up for it. The sandy beach is a delight to walk on, but the entrance to the sea is rocky, so wearing sea shoes is recommended.
We went to the beach for a short visit, staying only a few hours. The strong wind made it uncomfortable to stay for an extended period. There were no beach bars available, and the cost of sunbeds was 20 euros for two. Additionally, we noticed that the beach was quite dirty, with a significant amount of plastic littered in the sand.
