Stunning location with a sea view on Turtle Island. We were thrilled to spot turtles and dolphins using the binoculars we brought along. Dolphins are quite rare on the island, but we were lucky enough to see them twice in one week (during the May holiday). Local fishermen even mentioned that their nets were being raided that week 😂 The house itself could use some maintenance. There are wall sockets that are either loose or non-functional, and exterior doors that are hard to close due to broken parts. During our stay, a section of the roof edge fell off because of concrete rot, posing a safety concern. The beds and bathrooms were satisfactory, and the outdoor kitchen (with an extra refrigerator) and large sofa made for a fantastic dining area whenever we didn't eat out. The swimming pool is spacious (5x10m) and enjoyable. The manager, Anastasia, is friendly, attentive, and quick to address any issues. I read some reviews mentioning WiFi problems, but we didn't experience any. While it may not set speed records, our three teenagers had no issues, and streaming Netflix was smooth. A car is essential if you want to explore the island, but there's a small supermarket just a 5-minute walk away and several restaurants (like “Ole-Ole”) about a 15-minute walk away. The beach below is easily accessible via a path next to the neighbor's house (a 3-minute walk), but with such a great swimming pool, we didn't feel the need to go there often 😎
This sandy stretch of paradise is nothing short of breathtaking. The aquamarine waters are crystal clear, and the beach is immaculately clean. The swimming is simply fabulous, and there are no crowds of tourists to spoil the serenity. It's like having your own private slice of heaven. The icing on the cake? The lack of tourist hordes is a massive bonus. So come on down and enjoy the pristine beauty of this hidden gem.
Tsilivi is a charming beach in Zakynthos that boasts a stunning location and well-established amenities. Its close proximity to the capital city, coupled with excellent recreational opportunities, make it a highly sought-after destination for families, couples, and romantic getaways. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the convenience of free parking near the beach.
The beach offers pleasant free areas, with sand both on the shore and in the water. It tends to have a decent amount of visitors, but never feels too overcrowded. Overall, it's a decent spot.👍🏼
The beach was pleasant, although it seemed to be quite congested. Moreover, the experience of swimming amidst the boats was not particularly enjoyable.
While we did have the delightful opportunity to swim alongside a graceful turtle, the beach itself felt somewhat underwhelming and overcrowded. Despite its reputation, the beach didn't quite live up to our expectations. However, if you're keen on observing these magnificent creatures, it's definitely worth a visit. I would recommend avoiding peak periods when the beach is swarmed with boats, making it difficult to get a good view of the turtles or take a dip in the water.
