Latest reviews on Erode's beaches

Puthenthodu Beach
10 Shiji

This beach is stunning, featuring clear waters and a spacious shoreline. Nearby, there's a restaurant and a resort. Children often play football on the shore, but it's recommended not to play in the water.

Pondy Marinaa
8 Mighty Ming

When in Pondicherry, make sure to visit this beach. The sand doesn't stick, and the ocean bed is relatively flat, making it safer for small kids. There are plenty of eating outlets nearby, as well as a lighthouse. Additionally, a short distance away, you can enjoy a boat ride through a small mangrove forest for 400 per person.

Singarathoppu Beach
10 Nic

This beach is perfect for photography enthusiasts, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by stunning natural beauty. It's a great spot for friends to gather and enjoy the sunrise and sunset, as well as for morning walks and exercise.

Pazhaiyar Beach
10 Sanjy

This beach is the most peaceful and secluded I've ever visited. There are plenty of trees providing shade, a shallow lake behind the beach, and a mangrove ecosystem. During migratory season, you can spot many birds. Unfortunately, we also came across several dead turtles on the beach, which was quite sad. Although it's a bit off the beaten path, reaching this beautiful beach requires a bit of walking.

Nagore Beach
10 Naveen Singh

This beach is a historical site known as Nagore Dargah. It features a small dargah where Hajrat Sahul Hameed Badhusa Nagore Andavar first stayed and fasted for 40 days standing on one leg, a practice known as "Sillah." Visitors come to pay their respects at this beach.

C.Puthupettai Beach
8 Jovian Marks

The shoreline is a private stretch of sand with no commercial establishments. It's ideal for a group outing with friends. There is a tiny playground for young children. Visitors may spot crimson crabs, tiny crustaceans, and deceased turtles. The area was relatively tidy, free of litter and debris. The ocean is choppy with powerful waves, and the seabed is uneven, making it challenging for recreational activities. It appears to be monitored by a caretaker. There were no fishing vessels present at this location.
