Latest reviews on Lembongan's beaches

Kelingking Beach

Wow, where do I even begin? Kelingking beach is undoubtedly the most stunning and breathtaking beach I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Words cannot even begin to describe the sheer beauty of this place - it's a must-see for anyone who loves nature and the great outdoors. However, I must warn you that the trek down to the beach is not for the faint of heart, the elderly, children, or anyone who is not physically fit. It takes around 30 to 40 minutes to reach the beach, depending on your stamina and the number of people on the trail. Luckily, there are proper steps and railings midway through the trek, which are a godsend. However, I wouldn't recommend trusting them completely - they may look sturdy, but better safe than sorry. The second half of the trek is made up of natural mountain stones and broken steps, with railings continuing along the way. At certain points, the railings may be out of range, so ropes are provided to help you navigate the steep and narrow steps. The key is to bend your knees and take it slow, almost like descending a ladder. The climb back up can be quite taxing, depending on your upper body strength, but trust me when I say that the hike is absolutely worth it. Once you reach the beach, you'll be greeted by crystal-clear azure waters, warm sun on your skin, and soft white sand between your toes. It's easy to lose yourself in the timeless beauty of this place, almost as if you're living in the movie set of Avatar: The Way of the Water. So, if you're up for a challenge and want to experience a slice of heaven on earth, make sure to visit Kelingking beach. You won't regret it!

While the beach itself may not be the cleanest, it's still a great spot to catch a beautiful sunset. Additionally, you can take a leisurely walk or soak up some sun.

Dream Beach

This beach is incredibly clean - I'd say it's the cleanest beach in Bali. The waves are big, and there's plenty of parking available. Cons: Unfortunately, there are no shower or toilet facilities on the beach. We had to use the shower room at Cafe Pandan. Location: This beach is conveniently located - only a short distance from Yellow Bridge. Worth a visit: Absolutely! I'd give it a 5/5 rating. Access: Getting to the beach is easy, so I'd rate it 5/5. Tips: In my opinion, this is the ultimate dream beach. It's spotless, unlike many other beaches in Bali, and the waves are massive - only the bravest swimmers should attempt them. I personally don't have the guts to try! This is definitely a must-see spot in Nusa Lembongan, alongside Devil Tears. Trust my reviews - they're always honest and unbiased.

This spot is our go-to for snorkeling and we just can't get enough of it. The coral reef here is absolutely breathtaking and untouched, and the best part is that it's just a short swim away from the shore. We recommend going during low tide when the reef is more visible. While you're there, don't forget to check out Mola Mola for a refreshing smoothie bowl.

This beach is a must-visit for those who love sunsets. It's not your typical beach as it has a shallow backwater where locals do seaweed farming. You can easily park your vehicle at the entrance. The shore is covered with coral residue, which adds to the charm of the place. There are several cafes along the beach where you can enjoy a peaceful evening while sipping on a beer or coffee. You can also witness locals doing weed farming, which is a unique experience.

Pandan Beach

This so-called paradise beach on Bali may seem like a dream come true, but don't be fooled by the hype. Sure, you have to trek through a forest and climb down some stairs to access it, but is it really worth it? The beach itself may be nice, but don't expect to have it all to yourself - unless you happen to be there at a particularly slow time. And even then, who knows what kind of crowds you'll encounter? Don't get me wrong, it's a decent spot, but let's not go overboard with the praise.
