Latest reviews on Kilcock's beaches

Bray Strand
10 Vika

Fantastic getaway just a short distance from Dublin. Traffic can be heavy at times, but it's absolutely worth it.

Donabate Strand
10 Fabz

Fantastic spot. Pristine beach. Dog-friendly. Spacious parking lot.

Sandymouth Beach
10 Violet O'Callaghan

The Poolbeg towers appear larger when viewed from a distance, but from this vantage point, they seem quite small. The beach is absolutely stunning and conveniently located near the road. I can't resist wanting to pet every dog I see there. During the evening, a unique blend of grey and blue hues illuminates the surroundings, creating a captivating sight that I haven't encountered in any other country.

Bettystown Strand
10 ClaiTee

The beach stretches for over 5km between Laytown, Bettystown, and Drogheda. The width of the beach depends on the tide, so be sure to check before you arrive to avoid any disappointment. Enjoy!

Gormanston Strand
8 Ike

When it comes to natural beauty, this beach is truly stunning. There are no facilities available (no seating areas, no parking except at the nearby train station, and a small, pot-holed road for access), but this lack of amenities keeps it wonderfully unspoiled. If you're seeking a secluded spot, this place is perfect. It's an excellent location for a peaceful walk. Just don't anticipate much in the way of entertainment beyond what you bring with you.

Sandycove beach
10 Samantha Grace

It's a fantastic spot for swimming when the tide is at least halfway in. You can relax on the wall and bask in the warm sunshine. There are showers and restrooms located beyond the Joyce tower, just a short 3-minute stroll away.
