Stunning beach. You can rent paddleboards and kayaks at an affordable rate to explore the nearby beaches, which is definitely worth it.
The beach near Olbia is truly stunning, with its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. Although our visit was marred by strong winds, I can only imagine how delightful it would be on a sunny day. It's important to note that walking from Olbia to the beach is not recommended, as there are no proper footpaths. Instead, taking the 04 bus is the best option for a hassle-free journey.
We explored the protected marine natural area with the help of INSULA360 (find them on IG), who guided us on an exclusive and detailed excursion using their dinghy: • Tavolara Island, where we stopped for about an hour to have breakfast and swim in a stunning cove; • Molara Island, where we swam in its natural pools but couldn't disembark; • Turtle Rock, where we enjoyed swimming and diving; • Beach of the Cows, concluding at Cala Suaraccia, the starting point of our excursion.
The public beach pleasantly surprised me with its pristine, crystal clear water. It was a refreshing sight to behold. Even in the peak of August, the beach wasn't overly crowded, making it a peaceful and enjoyable experience. 👌🏼
