The beach offers of an exquisite stretch of sand, unlike any other in Croatia 🇭🇷. However, it tends to get overly crowded, with hordes of people jostling for space near the shore. The water is a sight to behold, with its crystal-clear clarity, although there was a slight unpleasant odor in the air during the late afternoon. Perhaps, visiting early in the morning would provide a more pleasant experience.
Undoubtedly, Krk boasts one of the most magnificent beaches, especially for families with kids who can revel in the soft sand. However, during peak season, it tends to get crowded, and there is a dearth of shaded areas and parking spots. If you find yourself in such a situation, it's advisable to head to Konjska camping grounds, which is spacious and offers ample parking space.
We returned two days in a row because the food was incredible and the staff were even more outstanding. We celebrated Christmas at the restaurant. Highly recommend!
This charming man-made beach boasts two cozy coffee shops and restaurants, offering a casual and laid-back atmosphere perfect for spending quality time with friends and loved ones. Conveniently located with ample parking nearby, this beach is a great spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. One of the standout features of this beach is the shade provided by the towering pine trees, a rare find on the island of Krk. And if you're looking for a more secluded spot, there are several other hidden beaches just a short walk away. Overall, this beach is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
To reach this beach, either head over from Vrbnik or take the dirt road from the car park near Sv. Marek beach (which is completely safe) - don't rely on other GPS directions. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted with a stunning pebble beach that's peaceful and secluded. There aren't any amenities or shaded areas, but the clear water and small cove make it an incredible spot to visit.
