Latest reviews on Sheffield's beaches

Nanjizal beach
10 Aiden Prescott

This beach is the perfect destination for a leisurely day trip. Take a relaxing stroll along the winding paths or bask in the sun on the soft sand. Don't forget to stop and admire the majestic horses that may cross your path. To fully appreciate the beauty of this beach, park at the entrance and enjoy a 21-25 minute walk. Trust us, it's worth it!

Porthmeor Cove
10 Jamil Farid

This beach is an absolute treasure, tucked away in a somewhat elusive location. But once you discover it, you'll be amazed. The sand is simply divine and rivals even the most exotic destinations like the Maldives. The water is crystal clear and pristine. Although it can be a bit choppy on cooler days, it's to be expected. The beauty of this beach cannot be captured in photographs alone. I highly recommend a visit if you happen to be in the vicinity.

Pedn vounder beach
9 Iain Roxburgh

I was born in West Cornwall so have been to Pedn Vounder many times. It is the best beach I have ever been to with bright golden sand and turquoise water. However, your description of this beach is inaccurate- it is not located in an urban area but is in a very rural area of west Cornwall. You say it is easy access but that nothing could be further from the truth. You have to climb down the cliffs to access the beach so it is unsuitable for young children and the elderly or infirm.

Porthcurno Beach
10 Lorelei Finch

The beach is beautiful with amazing views and a great location. Just be cautious of the steep drop when entering the water, as the waves can be strong and catch you off guard. Some people have been surprised by waves while fully clothed. To the right of the beach, there is a nice walk up to the Minack theatre carpark with more stunning views.

Porthchapel beach
10 Eliot Bristlewood

This beach in Cornwall is truly a hidden gem! Unlike other beaches in Kent and Sussex, the sand here has a unique and luxurious texture that is smoother and thicker. The stunning scenery will transport you back to the Jurassic era, with a landscape that feels like it's straight out of a dinosaur movie. While it may not be the easiest beach to access with only a footpath and steep descent, the effort is well worth it. The deep sea is perfect for spear fishing, making it an ideal location for adventure seekers. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Sennen Beach

This beach has stunning scenery and is a prime location for relaxation. However, parking can be a bit of a hassle and the roads leading to it are quite narrow.
