Nice spot but zero facilities. Found my dog rolling in āsomethingā on the beach and no joke it was human š©. LOTS of trauma. Also quite student-y, loo roll up in the car park too & donāt bother driving down as youāll also get stuck (itās banned anyway). Other than that it was great š .
What a stunning shoreline! The sea is so transparent that you can see the bottom. The sand is spotless, and there are plenty of amenities nearby, including parking, restrooms, and a fantastic beachside cafƩ.
This beach is absolutely fantastic, complete with a charming little cafe and convenient parking. It's particularly wheelchair-friendly, as they provide a beach wheelchair that can be reserved at the cafe. The sand near the parking and cafe area is soft, while it becomes firmer as you approach the sea. Additionally, there are some delightful rock pools scattered along the edges of the beach.
This stunning beach is an ideal location for families and those looking for a refreshing swim. Even in the late afternoon, we were captivated by the sight of children frolicking in the cool waters. Despite the overcast weather, the crystal-clear water glistened like diamonds. The beach is immaculately clean, with a mixture of sand and shingle that adds to its charm. A nature reserve is located opposite, and a pay and display car park is conveniently situated nearby. We would undoubtedly return to this breathtaking beach for another unforgettable experience.
Whenever I visit the beach, I prefer to stay at the caravan park and take a leisurely walk down to the shore. However, I have observed that the parking arrangements have been altered for other visitors. Despite this, the beach is undeniably beautiful. Although it may not be the most picturesque, it offers a serene ambiance and stunning vistas. During peak hours, a vigilant lifeguard is on duty to ensure everyone's safety. Additionally, the beach boasts rock pools that are perfect for children to explore and enjoy.
We arrived around 7pm on Thursday night and fished for about an hour, catching mackerel for breakfast. Although there are signs indicating no overnight stays, we stayed in the corner without any issues. The place empties out around 6pm and people start arriving between 7am and 8am, but it never gets crowded. It's a charming little spot to stop by. There's also a donation box, so please consider donating if you stay hereāit's the least you can do :)
