I've been coming to this beach for years and it never fails to amaze me. The scenery is breathtaking and it's perfect for paddle boarding. The facilities are pretty good and it's conveniently located near the town center, making it an ideal spot for a fun day at the beach in Abersoch.
When the tide is out, this beach is quite lovely and spacious. Additionally, it's quite sheltered, so even when it's really windy, it's still a decent place to walk the dog. I believe the headland provides good coverage.
This stunning beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Simply park your car at the National Trust carpark and make your way down to the shoreline. The scenery is breathtaking and the atmosphere is serene, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful walk.
The tranquil ocean was truly remarkable during our week-long visit, which we frequented almost daily. We were delighted to find a complimentary parking area and ample room for those willing to take a leisurely stroll down the shoreline.
This beach offers ample space for kite flying and is accessible through a picturesque walk through cow-dotted fields. However, those with mobility issues may find the lack of a proper footpath challenging. The walk down to Porth Colmon is a pleasant one, with breathtaking views of the beach and hillside. Be aware of a section of oxidized seaweed that has turned a deep red color. Kids will love exploring the numerous rock pools dotting the beach.
