Sand City - all beaches

This beach in Monterey County is one of the rare spots where you can bring your dog. It's a fantastic place to unwind, have fun, and enjoy the crisp coastal breeze.

The beach offers of gorgeous fine sand and is impeccably clean. The local community takes pride in keeping the area spotless and it shows. Every spot on the beach offers a stunning view and there are toilet facilities available for visitors. It's also dog-friendly with plenty of paths for walking.

This beach is conveniently located within a leisurely walking distance from our accommodation. The walk is manageable even for our senior furry friends, making it a perfect place for a scenic stroll with your beloved doggies. It's worth noting that you should bring your own doggy waste bags as none are provided along the beach. While walking on the grass area is not allowed, you and your furry companions can enjoy a pleasant walk on the sidewalk. The beach is not overcrowded, allowing you to take your time and appreciate the breathtaking views. Our four-legged friends absolutely adore the walk, with so much to see and smell along the way.

This is an amazing spot for children to frolic and enjoy the sandy shores while also engaging in beach activities. Moreover, it is a prime location to observe divers embarking on their underwater adventures amidst the kelp beds.

The beach we went to on Christmas eve was quite dirty and infested with flies. While it was less crowded than other nearby beaches, I wouldn't suggest it as a first-time visitor. On the plus side, there was ample parking and plenty of restaurants within easy reach.
