Folly island - all beaches

The managers at the beach were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The lady at the dairy was also very kind and assisted us in reaching out to the manager. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We are extremely grateful! The view at French Pass was absolutely stunning. We witnessed a massive pink moon rising from the sea, which was a sight like no other. The restroom facilities were exceptionally clean, and the shower room was spacious with a convenient hook for hanging a solar shower bag. We will definitely be returning in the future!

This place is absolutely beautiful to live in or visit. However, it would be greatly appreciated if people could refrain from littering. It's becoming quite exhausting to constantly pick up trash that is either thrown out of cars or left behind by visitors. This place is truly a gem, and we can all contribute to its preservation by taking our own rubbish home instead of dumping it here. Let's ensure that everyone can continue to enjoy this wonderful treasure.

This beach has the best ice cream in all of New Zealand!

This charming beach is a true gem. Its vast expanse of pristine sand and crystal-clear waters is simply breathtaking, and the surrounding scenery is equally stunning. With numerous barbecue areas, ample parking, and plenty of space for children to run around and play, this beach has it all. It's no wonder that it's considered one of the finest beaches on the island.

Unbelievable view

This charming, untouched beach can be found by following the gravel road at the end of Kina Beach Road. It leads to a medium-sized reserve with water access, perfect for water sports during high tide. It's a great spot for a BBQ too.
