Playa Marlin, located in Cancun, is undoubtedly my preferred beach destination. Unlike other beaches that are crowded with hotels and chair rentals, this beach offers a vast expanse of public space. As you move towards the north, you'll find a large free area, thanks to an empty lot on the hotel strip. Just outside the beach entrance, there's a grocery and Oxxo, where you can stock up on drinks and snacks for your beach day. The crystal-clear turquoise water is breathtaking, but the waves can be quite strong on certain days. Compared to the bustling areas closer to the heart of the hotel zone, Playa Marlin has a more relaxed vibe. Hence, it all depends on what you're looking for in a beach experience.

The beach was absolutely stunning. I visited on a serene Tuesday morning, and the tranquility was palpable. It was around 11am, and the crowd was minimal, with perhaps fewer than 30 individuals present. I was delighted to discover that I could receive a massage right on the beach, and I must say that the masseuse was exceptional. The combination of the full body massage and the soothing sounds of the waves had me drifting off to sleep in no time.
