This is a perfect spot for our family to spend a day at the beach. The beach is conveniently located near both the north and south parking areas, and a brand new boardwalk connects the restaurants and beach access points. Walking south on the boardwalk will take you to an access road that leads through farmed areas and loops around to the upper areas, offering a breathtaking view. The primary area where surf schools are run is also a great spot for surfing, with a pretty good surf break that is usually chest high. The beach itself is quite large and sandy, with easy access points all along. However, as you move further south, it gradually becomes more cliff-laden and eventually turns into a rocky break that is perfect for exploring. If you have a steady footing, you can even walk up to the farm land and back down to the beach from the top, or take the road back around.
