The beach is spacious and sandy, but unfortunately, it's littered with rubbish :( (May 2024). It's windy, which is great for kitesurfing and other activities. However, the equipment and lessons are quite expensive.
We had an absolutely fantastic time at Tsambika Beach! Getting there was a breeze, as we hopped on the bus from our hotel for just €2.20 per person, and it arrived on time. On the way back, we suggest arriving at the bus stop 20 minutes early, as the return bus can get quite crowded. The sand was lovely and soft, and although we preferred to lay our towels out by the water's edge, there were plenty of sunbeds available at different prices if that's more your style. We decided to grab some food and drinks from one of the beachfront restaurants, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and high quality of the food. We enjoyed two ciders, a club sandwich with fries, and a burger with fries for less than €40. If you're looking for a quieter spot, simply take a stroll down the beach and you'll find some lovely secluded areas. However, we found that most people were respectful and peaceful along the waterfront. The water was also surprisingly warm for October! Overall, we highly recommend visiting Tsambika Beach for a refreshing change of scenery for the day.
The beach is stunning and incredibly remote, making it a challenge to access by foot, especially on hot summer days. However, the beach itself is absolutely worth the effort. There is a main beach, and if you climb a small cliff, you'll discover a smaller beach. Both of them have large stones scattered around, making it difficult to find a comfortable spot to lay your towels, although there are a few small areas available. If you have an off-road vehicle, you can drive directly to the beach.
This beach is the perfect spot for swimming in the waves. It's a stunning beach that doesn't have sunbeds or huge crowds. Just bring your own towel. You'll find a summer shower and changing cabin conveniently located nearby. It's worth noting that it's always windy here, so exercise caution.
This beach is truly delightful, boasting a mixture of sand and pebbles that add to its natural charm. For a small fee of around 10€, you can rent a comfortable bed and parasol for the afternoon and enjoy some refreshing cold water. The gradual drop in sea level is a bonus, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for swimming and paddling, depending on the tide.
