I have had the pleasure of visiting over a dozen beaches in Costa Rica, but this particular one has captured my heart. The vast expanse of the beach during low tide makes it a delightful walk on the firm sand. The little huts are a great way to get some shade and relax (we got lucky and found some available at 9:15 am). The sandy bottom with no rocks on the main part of the beach makes it a safe place to swim and enjoy the waves, which are perfect for beginner surfers. Additionally, there is ample parking available, and the nearby restaurants serve delicious food. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable experience.

This beach is truly incredible. It is absolutely worth venturing out to, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded beaches in town. As you arrive, you'll find a fantastic café and surf shop right by the entrance. The best part? It's not overly crowded, and there's even a convenient parking area available. Without a doubt, this is my top pick for beaches in the area.
