This is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach on the entire island. The road is quite challenging; we couldn't complete it with a 4x4 Polaris buggy and had to park it halfway, then hike for another 45 minutes. However, it was absolutely worth it.

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, although the beach itself is rather mediocre and definitely not a utopia. Additionally, the biggest drawback is the accessibility. The path leading to the beach is in poor condition, even for all-terrain vehicles. This factor also fails to provide a sense of seclusion and seclusion. As of September 2021 at noon, the parking lot was nearly at capacity.

We used to find it amusing watching people rent quads and sand buggies to explore the island, and to be honest, we still do. However, I have to admit that they do come in handy if you want to visit this particular beach. To get there, just head to Paradiso beach and climb over some rocks to reach the so-called mystic beach. Although it's a bit windy on this side of the island, the beach itself is quite nice and secluded. If you're up for a bit of adventure, I'd recommend renting mountain bikes and starting from Kefalos. Bring plenty of water in your backpack and bike over the mountain to the path that leads down to the beach. While it's a steep climb, the reward is worth it, and the path to the beach is mostly downhill. You can also drive there, but be prepared for a challenging and potentially stressful journey. If you do decide to bike, start early and make a day of it. There's a beach bar on Paradiso beach that's open during the summer months in case you need to replenish your water supply.
