What I found appealing about this beach in comparison to others is its lack of overcrowding, which is a common issue with the beaches closer to Mykonos. Additionally, the parking is free and there is ample space to lay out your towels. Although the beach is not sandy, it is composed of small, smooth rocks, which is ideal for windy days as sand won't be blowing all over you and your belongings. The water is also fantastic. However, I would advise caution when descending the steep hill, as it can be challenging to handle an ATV on the road.

The beach is quite rocky, so it may not be suitable for young children. However, my kids who are in middle school found it quite enjoyable. We had brought water shoes for them, but they didn't need them. For a fixed price of €35, you can get two loungers and an umbrella, which is a fair deal. The beach is situated in an inlet, so the water is calm and ideal for swimming. There are plenty of people swimming in the water. Additionally, there is a small watersports area where you can rent jet skis and go tubing. The drive down to the beach can be a bit daunting as it's a steep road, but it's well worth it, especially if you have kids. We had a lovely and laid-back day here.
