The Milos beach is an extraordinary sight to behold, resembling a miniature version of the Grand Canyon. The best time to visit is in the afternoon when the sun casts a golden glow on the abandoned mine, revealing its peculiar shapes and vibrant colors. To fully appreciate this unique experience in Western Milos, a Natural 2000 area of immense beauty, it is recommended to have a sturdy Jeep and a knowledgeable tour leader. For over two decades, the local company Small Islands has been the go-to experts in providing private tours of this breathtaking location.

This magnificent location is truly remarkable. Although the journey to reach it may be challenging, as we traversed a portion of the path with a Fiat Panda before walking the final 30-40 minutes, the end result is well worth the effort. It is wise to bring along plenty of water, as there are no amenities in the vicinity. The experience of scaling the terrain is an enjoyable and thrilling activity.
