A 20-minute stroll along the cliffs from Kastro leads to a picturesque spot beneath the monastery. We had to descend a steep set of stairs to reach the beach, and the same for the return journey. The beach was composed entirely of rocks, but we found it quite attractive and secluded. We had a great time swimming and snorkeling, though it took some courage to enter the water with the waves crashing against the rocks. This beach is not suitable for young children, so it's best to bring beach shoes to help climb out over the rocks and to choose a day with minimal swell.

This beach is gorgeous, but it's not the most accessible. It's not suitable for young kids, as it's mostly rocky. The water is crystal clear, though. The dirt road leading to the small church is suitable for any car or scooter. Once you get there, you'll need to park and take the steps down to the beach.
