The service at the entrance of the area providing information on car parking locations and a handout map was exceptional. The beach itself is quite nice and protected from the strong north winds. Additionally, there is a beach bar where you can grab drinks and light snacks, and they also offer umbrellas and sun beds for rent.

Mikri Ammos beach has a good selection of umbrellas and sunbeds available for a fee of 15 euros per set. The prices at the service counter are reasonable, with sandwiches ranging from 4 to 9 euros in various sizes. There are also showers and a tavern located nearby. The water is clean and clear, and on the day we visited, the sea was calm, perfect for a long swim without any boats or sea wasps to worry about. There are other beaches in the area, including the first one you encounter when arriving by car, which is a bit more alternative and suitable for younger, more hippy customers, but still has bars and indie music. This is likely the beach that surfers frequent, known as Kolimvithra. If you swim from Mikri Ammos in a quadrilateral course of about 2500 meters, you can reach the aforementioned beaches, as well as a third beach located north of Mikri Ammos.

This beach is stunning and offers easy accessibility. It's protected from the wind and has a gentle slope into the water with soft sand. Additionally, there's a beach bar with comfortable lounge chairs, but it tends to fill up quickly.

This beach is truly exceptional and ranks among the best on the island. While the cost of umbrellas and sunbeds may be slightly higher than usual, it is justified given the location and the beach's outstanding quality. There is ample space on the sand, and it is less windy than Kolimpythra. The water is deep from the very beginning, with only a few rocks, making it perfect for swimming. The beach is also well-connected to the center of the island via the local bus company. Additionally, there are showers, toilets, and small changing rooms available, as well as a lifeguard on duty. I would happily return to this beach and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tinos.
