The atmosphere is incredibly serene at this beach, but it's important to be cautious of small jellyfish. A number of individuals have been stung in the vicinity, particularly while seated.

The beach offers a fantastic, small protected area with access to the open sea. The water is crystal clear and warms up nicely. Although there are a few small jellyfish that may cause a temporary rash, it's more of an itch and not a major concern. Additionally, there are no sea urchins in the protected area. The girls absolutely loved it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bar only serves hot dog snacks and they ran out quickly. It's a minor disappointment considering the excellent facilities and overall charm of this little spot.

2 Very poor

We arrived at this beach around 5pm and noticed that it was manmade, which was quite different from the typical beach setting. As soon as we got there, a waiter shouted, Would you like to rent an umbrella for the entire day? to which we replied, No, it's already 5pm. The waiter then asked, So, would you like to quickly explore the area? Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcomed at all, as it seemed that only paying customers were appreciated.

The beach offers a fantastic lagoon for children to snorkel and gain confidence, with an abundance of fish to observe and swim alongside. Additionally, there is a refreshing splash pool for adults to cool off in after basking in the beautiful Cretan sun. Moreover, for those seeking a more daring experience, one can venture out to the open sea for deep water swimming and snorkeling.
