The owner and his team of four, including the chef, are the standout features of Ocean Paradise due to their cheerful, accommodating, and welcoming demeanor. Their personal touch is truly heartwarming, especially in how they have adopted and care for Indie dogs.
The resort is situated far from the main city, adjacent to Veelondi Theertham and about 100 meters from the beach. We stayed for two days in the main Rameshwaram area to do darshan and visit Dhanushkodi, then moved here to visit Pamban Bridge, Vivekanand Memorial, and to relax and soak in the local atmosphere. Facing the ocean, the resort features a gazebo for dining and four rooms. The kitchen is open, and while the mattress is a bit firm, towels and soaps are provided. Be sure to bring your own slippers, dental kits, hair care products, and other toiletries. Meals can be served in the rooms or the gazebo, and the food is homely and delicious. Breakfast includes dosas and idlis, while lunch and dinner need to be ordered in advance. The fried fish and prawns are delightful, with all dishes carrying a South Indian flavor.
