The walk is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by abundant nature and wildlife. We had the chance to swim with manta rays, puffer fish, and many other creatures. The journey concludes at a charming beach.

At the northernmost tip of Broulee Beach, you'll find impressive rock formations jutting into the ocean. These natural breakwalls absorb the impact of the waves, creating safe harbors beside them regardless of the surf conditions. This feature was particularly useful today, as a large swell made the main beach area of North Broulee ideal only for surfers, who were thoroughly enjoying themselves. For us swimmers, the shelter provided by the massive rocks allowed for a relatively safe ocean swim. I'm eager to return with snorkeling gear, as this spot seems to have a lot of underwater activity. There's a free car park nearby, and even during peak holiday season, there were plenty of available spaces. At high tide, the mouth of Candlagan Creek, which you pass on the way from the car park to the beach, could also offer a pleasant swimming spot.

Fantastic beach for children of every age. It features rock pools, tidal estuaries, a playground, and is nestled within a welcoming and friendly community.

Imagine having the whole beach to yourself! Sounds crazy, right? That was exactly my experience! The entire beach was deserted! It was incredibly calm and soothing, and you could truly hear the depth of the ocean through its waves!

Fantastic beach. There's a small river with fish for snorkelers to explore. Be sure to check the tide, as the best time to visit is a few hours on either side of high tide. For the adventurous, there's a bridge perfect for jumping off. The beach is also great for surfing, building sandcastles, and general play.
