A nice expanse of sand that's spacious enough to lay your towel down and still allow people to walk by. However, if you're not a dog person, I'd suggest either finding a different spot or heading towards the quieter ends of the beach. The dogs here can be quite bothersome, often running over towels, and their owners rarely make an effort to control them or apologize.

It's a nice sheltered beach offering paddle board and kayak opportunities. When I visited on Australia Day, the water was dirty and slimy, making it less enjoyable for swimming. However, I would definitely recommend it if you have pets or are looking for a semi-quiet beach close to Sydney Harbour.

A serene beach featuring both sandy and grassy areas. Ample shade is provided by the trees. Numerous unleashed dogs can be seen joyfully playing in the calm water. It's advisable to wear shoes due to the presence of thorny and sharp objects on the lawn side. The sand also contains a significant amount of tree debris. Swimming is permissible but not advised for three days following rainfall. On the far left side (when facing the harbour), there is a shop where you can rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

A charming small beach bordered by trees... There's a public boat shed where you can rent kayaks. We've encountered plenty of marine life here, including hermit crabs, starfish, and even a seal! It's conveniently situated near the kiosk on the wharf, which offers drinks, food, and restroom facilities most of the time. Younger kids enjoy playing on the sand, while older children have fun on the big-kids playground and swimming.
