We visited the dog-friendly section and set up a canopy for shade, which I highly recommend. We brought our two small dogs, and they absolutely loved it. It's a very social beach for dogs, and they enjoyed interacting with many other dogs. The water was warm (in March), and the rolling waves were perfect for body surfing. The sand feels like silk. There are no toilets or shops where we were, so I suggest bringing snacks, lunch, and drinks with you.

A vast and breathtaking beach where you can let your dog roam off-leash. The water is generally beautiful and very clear, and the tide recedes quite far, significantly expanding the beach area. There are several parking spots and plenty of beach to stroll along. Some shaded areas are available on the bank, which are great, though the beach itself has limited shade. This is definitely one of the top beaches in Byron Bay for dog owners.

An expansive, flat beach perfect for leisurely strolls. The sand is so soft and comfortable underfoot that walking barefoot becomes almost addictive. Many people also enjoy walking their dogs along the shore.

What a stunning view of the ocean and sunset! I loved this beach, and having the caravan park right next to it where we were staying was a bonus.
The kids had a fantastic time, and so did I. I finally managed to capture some amazing shots and time-lapse videos on the beach.
Next time, I plan to book one of the cabins. It's a dog-friendly beach, and many people were just sitting there, enjoying the sunset and a smoke. ;)

Wow, this town and beach are bustling with activity. It's definitely a place where you need to arrive early in the morning to secure parking for the day. The views are stunning. For those who prefer a more relaxed swim, there's a public pool near the beach. It's easy to take a break and grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby local businesses. The town has a lovely, laid-back atmosphere with a surfy vibe.
