Casuarina Beach

As a local resident, I go surfing nearly every morning. While the waves can be a bit unpredictable at times, they are fantastic on a good surf day.

This beach is perfect for a long, peaceful walk. There's ample room even during peak times. If you bring your dog, make sure to keep them on a leash since rangers are known to fine owners who let their pets roam outside the designated off-leash area.

The beach was incredibly beautiful, just like many others in Australia.

One of the many beautiful sights at the beach is the Goat's Foot, also known as Bayhops. This plant plays a crucial role in stabilizing sand, often being one of the first to colonize dunes. It thrives in nearly all areas of the dunes but is typically found on the seaward slopes, where it sends long runners down towards the base. As one of the most common and widely spread salt-tolerant plants, it serves as a prime example of oceanic dispersal. Its seeds float and remain unaffected by salt water.

Breathtakingly long beach. The trees obscure the houses lining the shore, making them invisible. It's incredibly relaxing, especially when compared to the bustling beaches up north!
