A stunning beach that is rarely crowded, with patrols only during school holidays. It's an excellent spot for observing wildlife such as kangaroos, raptors, and Loggerhead turtles during nesting season. This wonderful local beach is well-maintained by residents who walk it each morning to collect any litter. It's also perfect for beach fishing in the early morning and late afternoon. The photo shows one of our local residents enjoying the sunrise.

My local beach is a beautiful spot that I visit with the kids every week. It's not patrolled.

If you're searching for a spot to go rock pooling, head to the northern end of the beach. You can park and access the area from Andrew St Park. You'll find plenty of small crabs scurrying around the rocks and pools filled with fish.

Located on a serene stretch of beach that extends all the way south to the Maroochy River, this area offers a peaceful escape. It's just a short walk to Pt Arkwright, where you can enjoy stunning views and excellent picnic facilities. A truly beautiful beach.
