Be prepared for a bumpy, narrow path leading up to the beach area, but the drive is relatively easy. The entrance to the beach is quite muddy, so I didn't attempt it with my heavy 79, but a lighter vehicle with 4x4 should have no problem. I would suggest camping at this beautiful spot at night.

There is a long, wide stretch of beach along the Cape to Cape walk. It's a relief to reach a flat surface after Elephant Rock. The sand is firm enough for walking, although it does become narrower and softer as you head further south. Nonetheless, it's another stunning beach.

The path is very narrow, so be prepared for some significant scratching. Accessing the beach can be tricky, and a well-equipped 4x4 with high clearance is necessary. We were able to navigate with a y62 with a 2-inch lift and 35-inch tires without too much trouble. However, the beach itself is quite eroded and extremely soft - even at 12psi, we struggled to make progress. It might be best to wait until the weather and sea conditions improve before attempting to visit.

Great location! The beach can be reached by a lifted 4x4 and skilled driving, but it's easier to access on foot. It's quite windy and the narrow path may scratch your vehicle. Overall, it's a fantastic and breathtaking place if you're up for the challenge of driving there!

Take a stroll along the entire Cape to Cape Track. It doesn't get any better than this.
