4 Frustrating

The beach did not meet our expectations. We feel that those who have given positive reviews have not experienced truly stunning beaches. The cost is not a factor, as the area charges similarly or more. Unfortunately, the water was quite dirty, and we regretted our visit. The owner is not to blame, as the many boats in the area contribute to the pollution. The sunbeds face large rocks that obscure the view of the sea. The staff did not provide us with any attention, and we left after just 30 minutes, having paid for the sunbeds. While it is a pleasant place to hang out, it is not suitable for swimming. Perhaps our standards are different, being from Greece, where we are accustomed to pristine beaches with crystal clear waters.

The beach has gray fine pebbles, and I must say that the pricing is quite reasonable at 35 euro for two chairs and an umbrella. In my opinion, the negative reviews from those who rated it less than 4 stars are probably from people who aren't accustomed to paying for things. When compared to other popular beaches in the US, such as Miami or the New Jersey shore, or even in the south of France, this beach offers a great value.

The panini was simply scrumptious! During our stay at Hotel Aurora, we had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful, serene, and private beach. The price of 35€ for two people was quite reasonable, given the luxurious amenities provided. It's surprising to see people complaining about the beach not being free. However, there are other free beaches in Amalfi for those who prefer a more budget-friendly option. It's essential to remember that the best things in life come at a cost, and the experience of a private beach is worth every penny. Let's appreciate what the beach has to offer and be grateful for the opportunity to indulge in its beauty.

On both occasions, the staff have been amiable, making this beach the finest swimming spot we have discovered in Amalfi, far from the crowds. The cost of 5€ per person is reasonable, considering that it includes access to showers and toilets. The enormous cave nearby is a thrill for experienced rock climbers who can jump from the cliff at a safe distance. Although it is possible to rock climb the arch, it is a bit too advanced for me. During our first visit, we rented an umbrella and chairs, which was a good deal for a long stay in Amalfi. The food is decent, but in my opinion, not worth the price, so it is best to bring your own if you can plan ahead. Be cautious of sea urchins in rock crevices, as with any other place in Italy. There are a lot of fish to see, but of course, there will be plastic and debris floating around as well, given the proximity to a busy coastal town.

I am puzzled as to why anyone would give negative feedback about this particular beach. It is a hidden gem, with a pristine and immaculate shoreline, complete with a bar, shower facilities, and changing rooms that are never too crowded. For a mere 25 euros, you can enjoy a pair of sunbeds and a parasol to shade you from the sun. The water is crystal-clear, and there is no foul odor to be detected. The underwater world is teeming with vibrant marine life, so don't forget to bring your snorkeling gear and explore!
