Exuma is an amazing place to visit, especially if you are a beach lover. I recently discovered Cocoplum Beach and it was truly an awesome experience. What sets this beach apart is the ability to walk out far into the water due to the large sand bars that appear during low tide. The white sand is filled with treasures like shells and sand dollars, making it a great spot for beachcombing. While enjoying the crystal clear waters, we even spotted a graceful stingray swimming close to the shore. Although the access road is a bit rough and bumpy, it's definitely worth the journey. I highly recommend visiting Cocoplum Beach for a truly unique and enjoyable beach experience.

A place where sand gets everywhere and the sun beats down relentlessly. This particular stretch of sand is quite picturesque, I suppose. It's clean enough, I'll give it that. But let's not get carried away with the superlatives here. It's not like it's the only beach in the world. And let's not forget the crowds. Families with their screaming kids and their loud music. All day on 'da beach? More like all day in 'da headache.

This beach has quickly become my preferred destination around the globe. The adjacent bar towards the southern end is an ideal spot for both children and adults to enjoy. The water is quite shallow, allowing you to easily walk towards the nearby islands.

The only reason to be on Exuma is for the beaches, but even the best one is not worth the trouble. The water is clear and blue, but only ankle-deep during low-tide, making it impossible to swim or enjoy any water activities. The beach is littered with starfish and sand dollars, which may seem exciting at first, but quickly becomes tedious and boring. This attraction is definitely not worth the effort.
