ABC Chalet beach

The room offers a pleasant sea view, but lacks any other amenities. The food options are extremely limited, consisting only of burgers and tomyam, which are not enjoyable. There is no WiFi, water kettle, shops, or other restaurants available. Additionally, toiletries are not provided and there are no water activities offered. In order to reach the main port (Kampung ABC), guests must pay for a boat as the resort is located on a private island. It can be challenging to find a boat from other villages to Panuba.

The room had an amazing view, but aside from that, there isn't much positive to say about the resort. The location is highly inaccessible, with the only way to reach the resort being a 15-minute trek through the jungle from ABC Village or taking a sea taxi from ABC. It's important to note that sea taxis are usually unavailable after 5pm due to low tides. The food was average and the service was subpar, as it took us an hour just to receive a plate of chicken wings and fries. Basic services like laundry were not available, as they claimed to have insufficient staff to handle it. The room was decent with a good view, and the toilet was acceptable. The air conditioning worked very well, and the beach was easily accessible. There were no activity bookings available at or near the resort. We had to explore the island to find and book activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, massages, and so on. While it's a good resort for rest and relaxation, it's not recommended for those seeking an active vacation.

We stayed at the beach for 3 days and 2 nights and checked out today, July 31st. Luckily, we brought our own snacks and toiletries. The beach was not amazing, but it was okay. The room was just the right size for us. On the first day, we tried hiking from Panuba to Kampung ABC, which was a great experience. If you have kids, be extra careful as it takes about 15-20 minutes. The room was rated 3 stars. The food and beverage service was rated 2 stars because it was just our family and two other couples who checked in. The facilities were rated 2 stars because the television didn't have any channels to watch. The service was rated 2 stars because the shuttle boat was only available for check-in and check-out, and other activities had an additional charge of RM10 per person.

After a tiring day of travel, we reached Panuba Inn Resort. Unfortunately, the resort was in a state of disrepair and uncleanliness. We were disappointed to find that there were no available refreshments or food options, as all the facilities were closed. Moreover, the staff at the resort treated us as if we were a burden, despite the fact that they charged us for the boat ride back, even though they advertise a complimentary service. It goes without saying that we decided to cancel our reservation and found a much cleaner alternative.

After a long day of traveling, we finally reached Panuba Inn Resort, only to find it in a state of disrepair and filth. There were no facilities available for refreshments or food since everything was closed. The staff treated us like we were a major inconvenience, and they even charged us for the boat ride back, despite advertising a free boat service. The place was incredibly dirty and falling apart. Needless to say, we canceled our stay and found a much cleaner place.
