Bel Ombre II Beach

I needed a weekend getaway, so I made a last-minute reservation at this resort. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful landscaping - being surrounded by nature and hearing birds chirping created a very pleasant atmosphere. I really like the design and color scheme of the room. The addition of an outdoor shower and bathtub is a great way to cool off from the heat. One major highlight is the food. Although the dinner buffet didn't offer a wide variety, the taste was excellent. They even have a special corner for kids with food and desserts. When we ordered lunch, we absolutely loved the seafood pizza (we recently ordered seafood pizza at a competitor 5-star hotel and paid a much higher price, but it wasn't as tasty as here). Our little one wanted penne pasta with tomato sauce, and it was also delicious. The tomato sauce had a slight sweetness and wasn't too acidic, which our son really enjoyed. Any issues we encountered were promptly addressed by the hotel staff. They genuinely care about your concerns, which is commendable. As for the kids club, it depends on personal preference. Since our son and we love the longbeach kids club, it's hard not to compare. Here, the kids club is small with limited activities. However, I believe they could improve the service at the kids club. That being said, they do have a swimming pool (not heated), an outdoor jungle gym with rock climbing and a slide, board games, Legos, building blocks, pretend play sets, and books. Ms. Aroomaye did a great job entertaining the kids. It was also a nice touch to receive gifts like a welcoming t-shirt and apron/chef hat for the pastry session the kids had. Saturday ended with a movie night, which our little one really enjoyed. The staff was overall polite, welcoming, and provided great service. Special thanks to Mr. Raj and his colleagues. The pool is definitely a major highlight, especially since it's heated. Will I visit again? Most likely :) Should you book with them? Yes, if you're looking for a relaxing retreat at a luxury resort. P.S. I didn't have the chance to use the spa facility for a massage, but they do have a nice hot and cold bath, as well as a hammam.

The rooms were satisfactory, but my stay was unpleasant. The wifi was extremely weak, causing Twitter videos to stop in the middle and download. The cleaning service was inconsistent, with different standards each day. One day they provided floor towels, but the next day they missed it. The outside bathtub was only cleaned upon request. Additionally, the hot water pressure was low, and I had to ask twice to have it increased. The location was inconveniently far from any amenities. I was disappointed that I paid such a high price for services that fell short of my expectations. On a positive note, I appreciate the kind gesture of the chocolate.

I highly recommend this beach. I had a fantastic weekend there, and it wasn't too crowded. The facilities were excellent, and the service was flawless from the moment I made the booking until I checked out. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. Nilesh, who was extremely helpful. It would be great if they could offer more vegetarian food options, and they should also take a look at the turndown service.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location with serene and untouched nature surrounding it. The room was spacious and adequately equipped. The food was good, although there wasn't a wide variety available, it was still decent. The bar was absolutely fantastic! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the lack of daily room cleaning. The Kids Club was quite small and didn't offer any activities or toys. The gym was not well equipped and most of the machines were out of order. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable.
