Delfines Beach

The beach is pleasant, although the waves can be quite powerful and there tends to be an overwhelming amount of tourists. However, if you venture a little further from the crowds, you can discover some truly stunning and less crowded beaches nearby. Unfortunately, due to the influx of American tourists, some locals have begun offering drugs and prostitution on the beach, which is a concerning and unwelcome development.

The beach offers warm and inviting waters, with only a minimal presence of seaweed. However, the waves can be quite tumultuous, prompting the lifeguards to constantly blow their whistles at swimmers. The beach is open to the public and offers plenty of umbrellas for shade. The iconic Cancun sign is located here, but it tends to draw large crowds, making it more worthwhile to snap a photo at one of the smaller signs further down the road. While transportation to the beach is easily accessible by bus, it may be difficult to catch a ride back to your hotel.

Wow! The hue of the Caribbean Sea was truly breathtaking with its flawless turquoise shade! Although we visited during a stormy period, the majority of the beach was unoccupied, but as the weather improved, we relished every moment spent there! Without a doubt, this is my preferred beach in all of North America!

The beach is a pleasant spot to unwind and soak up the sun. There are a few merchants selling water and fresh fruit, but not much else. It's a refreshing change from the constant commercialism found on other beaches, although it would be nice to have a shop or café nearby. If you prefer to bring your own beverages (remember, no glass allowed) and desire a peaceful retreat without the hassle of renting a chair or being pestered, this is the ideal location for you.

The crystal-clear turquoise water stretches out as far as the eye can see, accompanied by the soft, powdery white sand that feels like silk beneath your feet. The sun's gentle warmth caresses your skin, creating a sense of tranquility that is hard to match. This beach is a true gem, offering an abundance of public umbrellas to provide shade from the sun. However, it tends to get quite crowded later in the day, so be prepared to compete for a spot in the shade. Additionally, the presence of numerous lifeguards and vendors selling snacks and refreshments adds to the overall experience of this wonderful destination.
