The resort's exterior is appealing in certain areas. Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome. However, once we declined the tour to become prestige members, the treatment we received took a turn for the worse and the friendly smiles disappeared. We had issues with the air conditioning in our room, despite reporting it three times, it was still not fixed, and there were occasional unpleasant smells resembling sewage. The junior suite swim-up room we booked did not live up to its name. As for the food, there were numerous complaints about its poor quality, except for the cheeseburgers and Caesar salad, which were decent. The steak and lobster night and romantic dinner on the beach were not worth the money, as you could get a similar meal for free at the Italian restaurant, making the $125 charge per person unjustifiable. The drinks were also not impressive, with limited options available. In terms of entertainment, it was quite dull and lacking. Unless you are a prestige member, there is not much to do, and we ended up spending most of our time sleeping. The pool was only occupied by around ten people, and during the day, there were limited activities unless you booked an excursion or visited a different town. It's best not to waste your time here.

We spent a week at the resort, but due to the following reasons, we are giving this resort a rating of 1. During our stay at the resort, I fell ill and approached the front desk to inquire if there was a doctor available on the premises. The staff confirmed that there was, so I asked about the cost in American dollars. They informed me that it would be $120. When we met the doctor, he immediately mentioned his fee of $120. However, during our consultation, he did not perform any vital checks, assessments, or examinations. He simply spoke with us for about 15 minutes at most and prescribed two medications. Strangely, he also included a prescription that he did not give us. When my husband, who is from Honduras, asked about the cost in American dollars, the doctor informed us that it would be $160. It turned out that the two prescriptions he provided were worth less than $4.00 in the USA, so we justified the cost of $120 for the visit and $40 for the medications, considering we were in Mexico. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I was shocked to see that I had been charged $382.65. We approached the hotel manager for assistance, but they were unhelpful. We also spoke to the doctor on duty, who expressed surprise at the amount we were charged. Unfortunately, as he was not the doctor who treated us, he was unable to take any action. Since we were leaving the next day, no one provided any assistance. When I returned home, I received a message from the doctor stating that he would only be willing to reimburse us with 50% of the money in cash, which seemed suspicious to say the least. In total, I was overcharged approximately $222 compared to the quoted cost. The resort did not offer any assistance or help in rectifying the situation. I still have not received the difference back. Trusting a doctor at a resort should be the bare minimum, and I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I would strongly advise against choosing this resort, especially if they do not support their staff and vendors. It is not a good practice.

My son and his girlfriend selected this hotel for our vacation. The two rooms we had were spacious, and even though they were on different floors, it wasn't an issue because one of them was located close to one of the pools. The buffet offered tasty food with a wide variety of options, and you could also have some dishes cooked to order. The specialty restaurants provided different dining choices, although during busy times they seemed to be understaffed, resulting in slower service. For lunch, Pizza – Pizza was a great option, but it also suffered from understaffing when it was busy. However, the staff members were polite, provided fantastic service, and always had a smile on their faces. The beach was clean, and while there was some seagrass, it was cleaned up daily and didn't interfere with swimming in the sea. For a fee of 100 Mexican pesos per person, you could rent kayaks or snorkel equipment. Luis, who was in charge of this, even offered guided tours when available, taking us to the best spots to see fish in the reefs. Overall, we had a pleasant vacation as the hotel was clean, friendly, and a great place to unwind.

The accommodations were fantastic. We absolutely adored Bettyna, our pool waiter. Her personality is truly incredible. However, the beach was quite disappointing. The swimming area in the ocean was very limited, and there was an unpleasant odor lingering around the resort. On a positive note, the pools were fantastic! The service provided was excellent, and the people were incredibly friendly. As for the food, it didn't quite meet our expectations, but we managed to avoid going hungry.

The service provided was outstanding! The rooms were pleasant. The resort was extremely well-maintained. Bettyna, who worked at the adult-only swim up bar/pool, was enjoyable and incredibly attentive! All of the wait staff were exceptional! Although I can't recall the name of the waiter we had at Sienna, he was absolutely amazing! He even performed some magic tricks for us in between courses. The beach may not be the best, but we were already aware of this before making our reservation. Overall, it was a much-needed and fantastic experience.
