My thoughts on this beach are quite mixed. To get here from the port of Cozumel, it costs $25 each way by taxi, so make sure to arrange a pick-up time with your driver as it is about a 20-minute drive.
On the positive side, the rentals are quite affordable at only $10 for comfortable chairs and an umbrella. The view is absolutely stunning and the beach is not too crowded, which is a plus. I also had the pleasure of trying the chips, guacamole, and salsa, which were all delicious!
However, there were a few downsides that I couldn't ignore. I was quite taken aback by the sheer number of raccoons I saw - up to 15 in total - and even spotted cats on the table. It made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen area. Additionally, the beach itself is quite rocky, so I would highly recommend wearing water shoes.
