This beach in Madeira is definitely one of the best spots to enjoy some water activities, such as surfing and swimming, while also taking in the stunning scenery. It's truly an amazing place to have fun and relax.

What a hidden treasure! The parking nearby the beach is complimentary, but be prepared for a crowd. The beach boasts a waterfall at one end and showers at the other, making it a convenient spot for a refreshing rinse. The sand is a unique and beautiful black volcanic variety, but be mindful as it can cling to everything. The nearby restaurant is a delightful spot to indulge in tasty and reasonably priced local cuisine, making it a must-visit destination.

The beach is a serene and stunning destination that exudes tranquility. To fully appreciate its natural beauty, it is advisable to visit in the morning as the sun disappears behind the mountains rather quickly in the afternoon. Additionally, I highly suggest taking a dip in the man-made lagoon situated adjacent to the beach, just a stone's throw away from the restaurant.

This beach in Madeira is considered one of the most stunning in all of Europe, with its black volcanic sand and breathtaking cliffs. It can get quite crowded on weekends, but that's just our personal experience. The beach also boasts a waterfall and ample parking options, either in the lot or along the road. During our week-long stay in early July 2022, we had plenty of space to spread out. In addition to a natural swimming pool, there are also shops and restaurants nearby. And let's not forget about the black sand, which not only looks beautiful but also has healing properties - it's like a free spa! Overall, a lovely place to spend some time.

Undoubtedly, the beach on Madeira is an absolute marvel! The unique combination of black sand and vibrant green cliffs renders this place truly enchanting. Moreover, the serenity of the beach was a delightful surprise as it was not very crowded during our visit. To add to the convenience, there was ample free parking available and we were able to find a spot without any hassle. Furthermore, a quaint little cafe located near the natural swimming pool offered restroom facilities and a variety of refreshments.
