This place should be on everyones bucket list. My new favourite beach. It has fine golden sand with some shells, warm water, tidal pools and is really clean, ideal for kids who can play safely. We arrived an hour after low tide, and left the beach 2 hours before high tide, easy paddle in both directions. Took an Uber from northern edge of Tavira, 6e there, 10e back.

Beautiful beach with warm and clear water, surrounded by a picturesque town. Definitely a favourite spot in the Algarve. Just be mindful that the tide moves quickly, and it is sometimes unsafe to walk back from the island to the shore, and there are no bathrooms or food spots on the island (plan ahead!).

One of Algarve most wonderful beach. Quiet, good beach extension. However recommend take beverage and food as doesn't have a strong support services due to been very natural and difficult access.
